Off the beaten track game viewing and Zambian culture which will appeal to the experienced safari/wildlife enthusiast! Liuwa Plains has one of the oldest conservation histories in Africa, dating back to the 19th century where the King of Barotseland, Lubosi Lewanika, appointed his people to be the custodians of the park and its wildlife.
Every year, Liuwa hosts the second largest wildebeest migration (second only to the Serengeti) on the continent. What’s more is that unlike the Serengeti, when you visit Liuwa the chances of seeing another vehicle are slim. You will literally know what it feels like to be alone in the African wild. No cars, no cell phones, no crowds – just you and your fellow adventurers, your guide, your vehicle and the amazing wildlife.

Whilst elephant, giraffe and buffalo are prevalent in the Mosi-oa-Tunya, your experienced walking guides keep safe distances and understand the animal behavior well. Accompanied by an armed officer, this Livingstone safari game drive combo is truly the best way to experience walking and driving in the bush next to fabulous Victoria Falls.
The Sioma Falls, 2nd biggest waterfall in Zambia, you will experience almost alone when the sheer volume of water cascades over the staggered, twenty meter drop. An interesting aspect is that the river flows underneath the rock on either side of the falls.

The Kafue National Park is Africa’s hidden safari gem. First established as a National Park in the 1950’s, it remains little-known and largely unexplored with huge areas of virgin bush relatively untouched. The Kafue is still one the last remaining safari destinations in Africa where you can go the whole day without seeing another vehicle.
Between October and December each year, about 10 million straw coloured fruit bats descend into a tiny patch of evergreen swamp forest inside Kasanka National Park, Northern Zambia. Enjoy this natural unique phenomenon during sunrise and sunset when bats leaving and returning to the Bat Forest. Combine bat viewing from amazing treetop hides with sightings of sitatunga, blue monkey, puku, elephant and many more.
