Our safari guide and Zambian cook will accompany you into the lesser frequented National Parks of Zambia. Equipped with canvas dome tents, campbeds, bedding and mobile washing facilities, you are free to venture deep into the wilderness, stopping for overnights in beautifully located community camps and bush camps.
You will be traversing the entire Luangwa Valley in our 4x4 safari vehicles. South Luangwa has amongst the highest concentration of game sightings. You will cross into the Nsefu-Sector and Luambe to the Northern Luangwa National Park. Each campsite located along the river. Track down buffalo herds and large cats on foot and on day and night game drives. Botanists, birdlovers and active participants will find a nature’s paradise in Mutinondo Wilderness area: with crystal clear springs and streams to swim in and walks around the foothills of Mayense Peak.

„Where Water meets the Sky” is the translation for Bangweulu Wetlands. This swampland with diverse vegetation zones, from wet papyrus pans interspersed with islands is ideal for boatexcursions: with the aim to spot shoebills and letschwe waterbuck. Another highlight and last stop on this tour will be the remote and lesser known Kasanka National Park. Enjoy canoetrips, hikes and game watching from a tree hide at “Fibwe Hide”. The park is well known for Sitatunga Waterantelope. From Mid October onwards the area is frequented by millions of palm fruit bats.

A possible pre or post extension could be a 3 night stay at Lower Zambezi National Park, which offers excellent boat safaris, canoeing and good photo opportunities as the region combines picture perfect landscapes with close up wildlife encounters. Due to its remoteness, very few tourists have been to this wilderness region.
